Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Danny started playing music at an early age with his sister. Influenced by their mother who was an accomplished piano player and uncle Lewis who played guitar and sang. As a child his folks would have Wednesday night jam sessions at their home where several of the local muscians along with other family members would come over and play and sing. At 18 years old, Danny started his own band and started playing clubs. While working a career in construction during the day, Danny has played music by night and weekends for over 40 years. He credits many of the great Tampa Bay area muscians for their mentoring. He says that the area muscians are more of a family ,and there is nothing like it. Some of his accomplishments in music is writing and recording a 45 in 1988 where one of the songs was used on UnSolved Mysteries, one of the most rewarding accomplishments was being worship leader in Leesburg, Fl and first hand got to see God's work. In the mid 90's worked in a country band in Lakeland,Fl, and got to open for several big acts, such as Waylon Jennings, Kenny Chesney, Joe Stampley, just to name a few. In the 2000 went to work at a Opry show in Eustis, Florida and got to perform shows and play behind greats like Narvel Felts, Johnny Russell, Margo Smith, Cal Smith, David Frizzell, and many others.
After a little break to concentrate on raising a family and the construction career, Danny is now re energized and is writing songs and recording. He is also playing keyboard and performing with a band in the Bay area.
